About us

Lothlorien started in 1973, in the backyard of a home in Linksfield.

Thereafter Lothlorien moved to Booysens Reserve, the entire yard at this reserve was destroyed and Lothlorien was forced to move to Tulisa Park. It operated as a hawker dealer, similar to the customers of our current depots.

In 1975, property was acquired in Roodekop. Lothlorien was able to gain market share by providing service excellence. In 1990 Lothlorien split into two divisions, Lothlorien Waste Paper, for the collecting and baling of waste paper, and Lothlorien paper mill.

In 1992, Lothlorien moved to its current premises, in Wadeville, where it still operates today. Lothlorien is family owned and run.
